Have you ever taken your child to the doctor only to have them not have symptoms at the clinic? You have to interpret what was happening for your doctor, who then has to interpret your interpretation.

MamaBear is a convenient and easy-to-use mobile health app for parents and caregivers of infants and preschoolers to collect patient-generated health data (PGHD). MamaBear is used to create and maintain a clinical-quality lung health diary. The caregiver collects signs, symptoms, sickness exposure, and activity context at the onset of breathing symptoms and, if applicable, after administration of rescue medication, via video plus audio recordings. MamaBear supplements parental recall during patient history collection by a clinical provider.

The app has a user-friendly interface that is easy to navigate and provides caregivers a way to document and track their childs health status and symptoms, making it an essential tool for busy parents and caregivers. MamaBear Health empowers parents to take an active role in their childs healthcare and provides a comprehensive solution for monitoring their childs health and well-being.

MamaBear is designed for all and has a unique design emphasis for those connectivity challenges in Rural and Tribal lands. MamaBear provides a way to prepare for clinical specialist visits in advance by collecting data to support your concerns. About 85% of the time, your child will be asymptomatic when they see a specialist.

MamaBear is appropriate for children aged 0-4 years.

MamaBear is an excellent way to collect information from children who have had wheezing episodes, or been to the emergency department, urgent care, or in-clinic visits with breathing problems due to asthma, RSV, bronchiolitis, or other respiratory conditions. MamaBear data provides a way for doctors to assess breathing patterns, noises, chest movement, nostril-flaring, and other anatomical markers of distress.
